I'm home!

After a few mishaps this morning (the cat threw up on my shoes before I woke up - fortunately not IN) I finally got on BART and returned to the East Bay.

I was a bit grumpy due to the shoes, but while I was on the train I saw a girl trying not to cry. I asked her if she was okay (she said yes, just sad) and gave her my set of tiny colored pencils to cheer her up. I can always go back to Kinokuniya and buy more - seeing her smile was worth it. The day's seemed wonderful ever since.

Anecdote

So I figured, having been away for so long, I should probably attempt to catch up to Sally in WOW. ...I am giving up that wish for the time being, she is 20 levels ahead. But that isn't the point of this post.

In a small area where people from both sides needed to be, a group of high level characters were chain-killing the poor hardworking lower level people who needed to be there. I, finding myself in the middle of this gankfest, decided to start mocking them each time I res'd to ease my own rumpled feelings.

Another member of my faction noticed and was thoroughly amused. After a little more mockery and some chatting, I was asked the following:

Him: "Call this a wild guess, but are you actually female?"

Me: "Ya."

Him: "I figured. The mockery with proper grammar and lack of swearing is a dead giveaway."

I'm totally going to save up my best People Are Weird stories for him. (And now that I think about it, I don't know why I feel so certain that it's a him...)
