mayamaiaAfter a few mishaps this morning (the cat threw up on my shoes before I woke up - fortunately not IN) I finally got on BART and returned to the East Bay.
I was a bit grumpy due to the shoes, but while I was on the train I saw a girl trying not to cry. I asked her if she was okay (she said yes, just sad) and gave her my set of tiny colored pencils to cheer her up. I can always go back to Kinokuniya and buy more - seeing her smile was worth it. The day's seemed wonderful ever since.
