So I figured, having been away for so long, I should probably attempt to catch up to Sally in WOW. ...I am giving up that wish for the time being, she is 20 levels ahead. But that isn't the point of this post.

In a small area where people from both sides needed to be, a group of high level characters were chain-killing the poor hardworking lower level people who needed to be there. I, finding myself in the middle of this gankfest, decided to start mocking them each time I res'd to ease my own rumpled feelings.

Another member of my faction noticed and was thoroughly amused. After a little more mockery and some chatting, I was asked the following:

Him: "Call this a wild guess, but are you actually female?"

Me: "Ya."

Him: "I figured. The mockery with proper grammar and lack of swearing is a dead giveaway."

I'm totally going to save up my best People Are Weird stories for him. (And now that I think about it, I don't know why I feel so certain that it's a him...)

When that happens, you're supposed to log off the lowbie, log in your lv70, and come eat their faces.

...Or just ask your lv70 friends to come babysit you. (I made Kui babysit me today when a lv70 rogue in 7pc tier6 was corpsecamping me.)

This is why I don't play on a PvP server. Nothing worse than hearthing to Cross Roads to turn in quests only to find some level 60-70 alliance killing all the NPCs and any PCs they find. At least on a "Normal" server, they can't kill me unless I'm flagged.

So I got to decide between waiting for the flight master to respawn, or running to Ratchet to fly to wherever I was going.

In the Barrens, they can only kill you if you flag yourself.
