I know I've said it before, but Murray Gold is brilliant and if there's anything I love about the new series, it's his work. If you have trouble hearing the dialogue, turn on the subtitles. The music is worth it.
When it comes to 36 Years, though, it doesn't interfere. Even listening to it alone is like listening to the background, life ticking away while you are focused on something else, while the things that matter change and break and fade.
I would love to write around it, for hours and days, but for now the ache only sings gently in the back of my mind. I do wish it were longer.
