I always listen to music when I'm not watching videos on the computer. Generally I use youtube for this, but the school computers were just wiped for the new quarter and Flash isn't working on this one (looks like it needs to be updated but an admin has to do it). So I'm making do in a more than satisfactory manner with the Doctor Who soundtrack...

It's been a while, so I'm not perfect with the names of the tracks, though. *sadface* Still, it's all here and it's all mine! Bwah ha ha ha!

Today is for figuring out what my new job is at the Library. I think I'll go for the service desk rather than the front desk - which means I get to learn a bit of troubleshooting for the media stuff. Yay for a job that will be slightly more interesting! And I'll have plenty of access to the rooms of giant TVs... OH!

SERIES FOUR WILL AIR ON APRIL 5TH. glee!

Anyway. Life is good enough, I'm being responsible and all and finding ways to enjoy myself between things. Good!

Linguistic Book List (I find it frustrating that Watership Down is included but Tad Williams's books are not.)

Re: Linguistic Book List - thank you

Have I told you of my plan to do a LINGUISTS IN SPACE! story wherein the linguist is NOT the anthropologist (*cough* stargate *cough*) but is in fact the techie? Of course, every time I think about it too hard it just becomes a vehicle for anthropologist-bashing language-log-recycling self-serving jokes, so I give up after a half hour or so.

Cheers!

Heh. I would be happy to see it expanded, though. Just for Tad Williams. Seriously, he wrote more imagined language than Richard Adams, for all I memorized Lapine when I was young.

I'm still seriously freaked out by Watership Down. I'm talking lifelong trauma sort of thing.

*shudder*

Be happy!
