mayamaiaI just spent a few hours singing with Gaelle at her house. We picked out some good oldies from the fifties and a couple songs in German, written by Grieg. Of the latter, the Cradle Song was oh so sad but beautiful. All about a father taking care of a child whose mother died in childbirth. So very beautiful, and simple.
Edit: Oh, we also spent some time sharing favorite / funny / interesting soungs via YouTube and the iTunes store. Meaning we discovered this TOTALLY WEIRD Rammstein song in SPANISH with a title that translates to "We Want Whores". Yep.
Indirectly, that led to me finding a Firefly music video to All These Things That I've Done. Good match of music and material, badly made video. I feel like I should redo it, even though I do not have any of the material to do so.
