Gooood morning world!
Dec. 13th, 2011 06:20 amI am more awake than I have any right to be, considering how late I stayed up reading. And I have got to say, I love how transbay busses have cushy seats and wifi.
It is so easy to start a day in a good mood when I have had to hurry and catch a bus or something before dawn. I have no time to lie about thinking how little I want to get up, I just have to do it and let the routine itself wake me. The chill air makes just being in a bus a comfort. Having cut sleep so short, I tend to sink into my music more deeply than ever, or whatever I might be listening to. (I haven't removed that S&S audiobook yet, and getting random snippets of it in among my music which is always on shuffle is actually rather fun.)
So yeah. I am on a bus, in a comfortable chair, kicking around online and thankful above all that I am warm and listening to music. Life is so very easy to enjoy this way.
I think I might actually be over the bay at dawn. Awesome.
