*sighs* It happens every year, but some years I am more tempted to call him than others. Tomorrow, and the following week, will be difficult.

Five years ago tomorrow he had just broken up with someone else, his first real someone else. That was the only reason I didn't give him a white rose that year. It would have seemed callous.

Now he is too far away for such a memorial.
