Pirates! Pirates! And then there's the Doctor...
*************
Ok, slow beginning, kind of difficult to get into the suspension of disbelief...
"Yo ho ho! ... Or does no one actually say that?"
*gun is pointed at the Doctor's head* "Ah. Probably because I'm wearing a hat now..." Look who's getting a bit pattern-savvy!
"That does very very complicated, that does sophisticated, that does wow, amazing! and that does whizz, bang, far too technical to explain!"
Prediction: the pirate's about to be way better at piloting the TARDIS than the Doctor.
"I saw that look just now: Ha, ha, his ship is rubbish!" "True." *Doctor makes a face*
On coaxing the TARDIS: "Well, we could try stroking her and singing her a song." "Will that help?!" "Can't say it never happened before!"
That is NOT the first time the TARDIS went off on its own. But it is the first time she did that and the Doctor didn't know where she went....
Eyepatch lady! (Yes, I know she has a name, I just don't care)
Awwwwwww, Doctor, the Sirius analogy! (Probably strikes me a little stronger due to Dogsbody)
Oookay, reminiscent of Amy's Choice there. Also, totally missed a chance for the Doctor to say something funny when under that spell.
Ohhhh, THAT explains it! Seriously, the TARDIS would never stop being on Viking ships if she homed in on ANY ship in distress, just by numbers.
...that's a rat skull! (almost) Ha! Bet there's a joke about the rats abandoning a sinking ship at some point. Or maybe they're just being subtle and leaving it tacit.
EWWWW, Doctor that's mean! Ah hahahahah!
Wait. Why aren't the Doctor etc. in there too? (He'll explain later, I'm sure.)
Okay, story's getting cool. (honestly, about time, but maybe I'd like it better on second watch)
Aaaah, best use of Rory as a nurse ever ever!
*bites fingernails*
I KNOW that music is like PotC on purpose! I KNOW IT.
"I thought I was an excellent pirate." "I thought you were an excellent nurse." "Easy, tiger! ...goodnight Doctor."

As for next week's preview... eeeee, they were right, it IS a War Games callback! Yeee! And the Doctor looks so happy!
huh?! um... gotta watch that again. Huh?! GAIMAN!!!!
Okay, voice is The House, but that doesn't totally debunk the Omega theory, and it is TOTALLY dramatic enough.
She sounds a bit like Romana, I must admit. She really does. And the Doctor WOULD be that petulant at her. But how would they get rid of her at the end of the episode?! Alright, I can think of at least three ways, so I'd better assume it's possible. I still want her to be the TARDIS......... and what's with the vampire biting?!
Random hairy dude has a huge nose.

Alright, the beginning was definitely slow, but I loved the episode by the end. Maybe I should watch it again. hee! Or I could just jump around waiting for next week! Yay!
