So my friend Matt Smith (no relation - blonde, solid, very gay) is moving back to Seattle if he can get work. His experience is in technical writing and director-level in non-profit (he was in the ministry). Anybody have any places I could suggest for him to apply?

Where's a delorian when you need one

So at my brother's wedding, I met his wife's best friend since childhood. While he was cute (like a dark haired Dan Lynch) and nerdy (he wanted to watch Dune during the after party and I seconded the matter), he was also somewhat drunk and I prefer to get to know cute nerds when entirely lucid.

Shortly thereafter I learned that he is known as Doc Brown and works on science policy in Washington. And cursed my luck at lack of non-drunken opportunities to get to know him.

And then I started playing Words With Friends. It is the only way I interact with him, because Faceboob is not my thing.

We agreed at some point I'd get him started on Classic Who.

Anyway. Turns out he's in the Bay Area! And neither of us is free for a movie night before he leaves. But he'll be back for Christmas! When I'm on the East Coast.

It's a conspiracy. It must be.
