So last night tristissima was over and we were about to start watching The Rebel Flesh when e said "Matt Smith! The best Doctor ever!" Now, I almost agree but it still pissed me off because it was an ininformed opinion, so on impulse I shut the computer and put The Deadly Assassin in instead. E only complained a little and only at first, liked the distinction between legal technicality and legal right, enjoyed the cliffhangers and was very curious about some spoilers I gave for Borusa's future.

By the time it was done, it was late enough that e crashed for the night, and in the morning we watched Planet of Evil. :D

And then today I talked with people about why Rory isn't the Boy Who Waited (the difference between forward-looking and backward-looking waiting is that the first kind isn't defined by the waiting but the goal)

And then I saw these delightful prequels!
