I Hate Cigarettes, and people who act justified in making me uncomfortable.

ARRGH. Hate it when smokers outside respond rudely to being told that they can be smelled inside. Hate their sense of entitlement. You are doing something that fouls the air with chemicals that at best are bad for the people in your proximity, and at worst actually sickens some of those people.

They were about 10 feet from the door of the cafe, too. And one of them said the legal limit is 15 feet. No, it's not, it's 30. Grrrr!

Appropriate

So I forgot that today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance, so I didn't attend any event tonight. Which is too bad.

But I will note that incidentally watching The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit tonight is appropriate, to me. Because it is a story about facing the demons that plague us, mental, emotional, physical, social, and working with one another to defeat them. This one story is the reason above any other that I watch Doctor Who.

It's a message that people need.
