Can someone explain this picture to me?

So the story is: as a joke, I started a tumblr called prettymeninspacesuits which is supposed to hold pictures of pretty men in space suits. (Shocking, I know.) Anyway, running through Google image search for stuff to post before I forget the blog completely, I came across this image, labeled "Side Profile of Victorian era Man · man, profile, victorian."



Is it just me of does this supposedly male person look a heck of a lot like Victoria from Doctor Who? (A bit like my sister Victoria too, but the nose is different)

Silly dream-brain

So last night before I went to bed, I joked to a friend that between pretty men in space suits and the black hole information paradox, I ought to have a nice adventure dream.

What I did dream was Stephen Moffat cajoling Nathan Fillion to be on the show. Fillion jokes that he'll only do it if he gets to play Mal, Moffat replys "It is Doctor Who, we can basically do anything we like."

And then the dream devolved into Moffat plotting with Whedon how to sneak the Firefly universe into the Doctor Who one without any legal issues.

Yeah, I think it's safe to accuse my dreamjng brain of being rather odd.

Fannishness

So this video is something I found on tumblr. Specifically, fuckyeahdavidmccallum.tumblr.com which has pictures ranging from the OOOOH PRETTY MAN to the Aww, sweet old man!

It is titled "Steel - the owl" And it really is best when watched while thinking about how an owl looks at things and moves. The effect is broken when he speaks, though.

I love fans. They are so funny. I include myself of course... today I took a few screencaps and labeled them "S and S Shipping Co" and they make me smile.

Also, I think I need to see The Man From UNCLE now. *checks out a couple fanvids, sees David McCallum looking surprisingly good with his shirt off* Yeeep, definitely need to watch that.
