MAKE!

Just signed up to volunteer at Maker Faire. Honestly, it's about time I did, since I love the event so much. I picked a lot of morning shifts, so I should be able to wander around Faire for a good while each day after I finish work.

So excited about it! Seriously, there's no event in my average year that is quite as awesome. What really makes it (heh) is the fact that you get to try your own hand at so many different things.

...I should probably bring some clothing for the Swap meet this year. I'm getting the sense that I have a lot of clothes that I shouldn't anymore, and that would excuse the fact that I will almost certainly be making something interesting for myself at the sewing machines. I could come in costume, or I could MAKE a costume!

Oooooh, and I'm going to see if there's a decent jewelry making table. Quick and easy gifts!

And maybe I'll make one of the little solar powered robots for once! Since I'll be volunteering, I can use the money that would have gone toward admission...

So excited! So very excited! Next two weeks = perfect!

Random thought

Most songs I am willing to hear once or twice and move on. Here's a list of some I'm likely to listen to over at least three times without other songs between.

The two sets are very similar, really, I can't really find a difference. I just seem to grow tired in time. A couple from the past have had more than one run in my life, too.

...Ultimately, music means a lot to me. Songs get under my skin and stay there. I would recommend anything from these lists, gladly, and probably offer analysis given a chance.
