Attempt and fail

I decided to draw cathartically sarcastic comic about myself, but got hung up on the first sketch. You know, for someone who is constantly getting frustrated that she draws others with aspects of herself, I have a heck of a time actually trying to draw myself. And apart from his hair, I can't seem to draw Jeff any better.

Anyway, with the help of my extensive self-portrait archive, I managed a me with a nice scowl, but it's still not in good comic style. Using the same means I could probably cobble together the rest of the comic, but I've pretty much given up.

*Edit: I tried to work on the Jeff drawing again and gave up before I even got to the mouth, but the results look incredibly funny. I have myself scowling at what looks like Adam wearing a Jeff costume, peeking up out of something. A basket, maybe. I totally need a story to go with this.

Okay, I added in the basket, and this is totally cheering me up looking at it. Cause every time I glare at Adam it's because he's said or done something that's going to make me laugh in another few seconds.*

*Edit again: Oh man, I can't stop laughing at Adam-in-a-basket! I tried tracing it to fix the hair, but I couldn't make it look like him anymore, so I guess I'll have to make the hair separately and play MS Paint jigsaw if I want to have it available for random giggles.

The weird part is, I get some serious déjà vu when looking at it.*
