Dear lord I take a lot of pictures.

And the sad thing is, this is just what I've dug up without going to my computer or phone - and I've ignored almost all of my nature and architecture shots and most of my self-portraits. (Because it's Facebook, the people are usually more interested in faces, and usually with a story behind them. Self-portraits rarely have a story.)

Elisabeth was intrigued by some of the nature shots, though. Well, specifically one I took on the Bear Valley Trail. She wants a copy of it somewhere.

Ah well. All of a sudden Victo and my mother have pictures on their sites. Huzzah! They were sadly behind. (Of course, most of the pictures are five years old, but hey. That's what I had with me.)

I spent this evening babysitting for Elisabeth. It went rather well.

10 things, right Ron?

Massage lotion - it really does help, if I'm going to be working straight on the skin. I hate the whole pinching problem, mostly on myself but also when working on others.

Mexican chocolate - It has a stronger but gentler effect, in a way. And I love spices.

Manuals - provided they're well organized and written. Haynes makes the best ones for cars.

Menus from Max's Diner - read the rules! They're funny!

Mamenchisaurus - ridiculously long neck. Seriously. It's scary-awesome.

Mole' - Any excuse to include chocolate in the meal is fine by me.

Martha Jones - Oh come on, I had to include her. She's wildly awesome.

Marionettes - I still can't figure them out enough to use one, so they're that much more magic.

Mackerel - the world needs a standard by which a thing shines and stinks. Okay, I'm being silly.

Magic - It would be nice, someday, to be proved so very wrong.

And now Nicole and I are having a "What have the last twenty years been like for you?" correspondence. Really quite neat. She's studying opera! (Appropriate considering how much she looks like Aunt Letha, in a way. When she was very young, of course.)

Also I'm being pelted with notifications from Rachel McGuigan. Heee. Wonderful little rugby girl.

This is helping. Music list this morning:

DW - Madame de Pompadour
DW - Hologram
DW - Fathers Day
Muse - Starlight
Evanescence - My Last Breath
DW - The Dream of a Normal Death
DW - This is Gallifrey: Our Childhood, Our Home
DW - Doomsday
DW - Tooth and Claw
Anberlin - Enjoy the Silence
DW - The Lone Dalek
Muse - Butterflies and Hurricanes
...it looks a bit like the Burrito Tunnel. But this one's real.

So I ran across a Facebook group called "Randall Munroe, author of XKCD comics, will you father my children?" (No I did not join.)

TheLastMatt: ... why are most of the members men?
TheLastMatt: Not to be biased... but their child-bearing abilities are limited....
Maya Maia: *laughs*

I then looked a little farther and found a group called "Randall Munroe: Please turn into a woman so I can marry you."
