Lonely

...at some point in my life, I got used to things I truly wanted becoming things I expected to never have. How do I change what I have into what I want?

Well, I do want the things that I have - but in a proprietary manner? There is little passion in the goal both caught and kept.

So perhaps I need a goal that I expect to achieve in small parts every day, but remains chaseable... rats. That is one way I always described a healthy relationship. There's alwyas something new to learn from the other person, if you're interested enough.

Maybe I just need to live in a library.

Maybe I need to go away for a few years.

Something has to change about me.

Battlefield

First the kids went to bed, then Elisabeth went to bed so now I have little to do - so I started watching Battlefield.

Hey, Morgaine is played by the woman who played Sara Kingdom! (One of the first companions to be killed - sort of. She hadn't accepted the offer, as I understand. And Katarina was the very first.)

- Okay, stuff the funny lines, this bit I recognize. It's the time that Sylvester McCoy saved the life of the girl playing Ace. She was in a tank filling with water, and he noticed that the side of it was bulging - she's not acting when she looks scared there. He got them to stop the water flow and fish her out just in time.
