Ah the half-dreams of night. My midterm proceeds, I have hopes for success, but as I let my mind clear for a moment, the sweeter and stranger thoughts fly in, making poems and physics and love intertwine.
It seems now and then
In the late middle night
You are closer to me in all parts
That you hear my heart's songs
That you see my mind's dreams
That you feel my soul's touch
It seems thus
And where I orbit you in the brightness of day
In the night I am center and I guide your way
Perhaps once we passed on the road and we caught
And about that one point we did spin
But something has changed in the rules we had wrought
And I orbit you
Then you orbit me
Like a free moving mass on a rod
You pass me the weight and you spin round me
And I pass it to you and I fly up, over, down
And repeat, day to night back to day
Only a thought
And only a thought
That you feel me
In your sleep
And your dreams
Yes I know it's my wish
But it's my half-dream...
It seems now and then
In the late middle night
You are closer to me in all parts
That you hear my heart's songs
That you see my mind's dreams
That you feel my soul's touch
It seems thus
And where I orbit you in the brightness of day
In the night I am center and I guide your way
Perhaps once we passed on the road and we caught
And about that one point we did spin
But something has changed in the rules we had wrought
And I orbit you
Then you orbit me
Like a free moving mass on a rod
You pass me the weight and you spin round me
And I pass it to you and I fly up, over, down
And repeat, day to night back to day
Only a thought
And only a thought
That you feel me
In your sleep
And your dreams
Yes I know it's my wish
But it's my half-dream...
