Ah, probably time to get to bed. But first I shall - again - mend the necklace Jeff gave me. This time, I think I'll braid the thread first. But soon I need to get a proper cord for it.

You see, if I'm going to go to a semiformal dorm dinner on Valentines Day, well. I'm going in black velvet and black heels and black hematite. I am going to look amazing wearing the dress that Dan never saw and the necklace that broke and every person will be too scared to touch me.

*big, scary grin*

Well, better than last year, anyway. Though I wrote some amazing poetry around that time. I think I will provide some links later on.

(Will post the annual Valentines verse when I'm at work in the afternoon.)

V-Day

This is the most important part.

"And I will show you a still more excellent way. If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over myself that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful, arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end. For we know only in part, and we prophecy only in part; but when the complete comes, the partial will come to an end. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known. And now faith, hope and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love." - I Corinthians 12:31 - 13:13

Poem: Play

How could I refuse?
What I love best of you
Is how you always make me change my mind

I laugh and turn about
And what I said "I won't"
I will, if only because it's for you

That grin, that impish grin!
You know you caught me fast
I love the way you play upon my thoughts

A game, a cunning toy
A thing you quickly do
But still you do enjoy it every time

Oh how I love the way
You make me change my mind
But it was only set for you to change
