Cool cool

First of all, I think I just aced my Philosophy midterm.

Second, I need an excuse to stay here! Who has a good reason for me to go to New York?! ...and the money necessary... ick.

I can't help it!

So I accidentally got a girl from my dorm - Stephanie, the one who gives amazing backrubs - interested in Doctor Who. She wants to watch it with me on the weekend.

I had been trying to explain the definitions of Geek, Dork and Nerd that I use and happened to point out that these days I'm strongly a geek because I have a particular obsession - and she asked what this Doctor Who thing was!

And then she said she wanted to see what I meant when I explained the regeneration thing.

And then she got curious about a CGI clip on Youtube of the Tardis breaking down. I said it was a fairly good recreation... and then she wanted to see how it happened in the show!

...I was going to get her started on Tom Baker, but, welll... if we were going to watch a clip from Spearhead in Space, she HAD TO see the Doctor steal his clothes and a car.... so I think she may have imprinted on Pertwee.

Hee.

(This is the girl, by the way, that I've been gleefully convincing that engineers are some of the sexiest men in existence.)
