Strange Weather
Dec. 8th, 2006 12:51 pmI woke early this morning and lit a candle but didn't get out of bed until 12:15 or some such. This would be because of Anansi Boys.
When I finally left the house, I started to close the door and stopped in my tracks. It's WARM out. I'm serious: I could comfortably run around the back yard naked if I felt sure nobody would see me. (There're six foot fences and lots of trees, but one apartment building has windows that can look into some parts, and our next door neighbor has a reasonably high porch.)
And it's almost completely overcast, the clouds are rolling in - fast. And the wind is, for lack of a better term, restless. If it smelled like rain, I'd think a thunder storm was on its way. As it is, considering my reading material, I'm feeling superstitious.
*Edit: and just for fun I changed the title for my friends page. heee hee hee.*
