Today was I-can't-drink-enough-water hot, and closing took 52 minutes where normally it takes 30.

The last set of customers were creeps. I almost started crying. That happens to me at work maybe 3 times a year, half of which are at closing.

If this doesn't kick start the Balance, maybe even the full-fledged Goddess, I'm gonna be impossible to talk to tonight.

So I'll just start ordering world events. Next up: Africa gets an unexpected hail of brownies amidst Beethoven's 5th out of thin air.

A little more serious - love and the seventh symphony

If you've ever read Alan Moore's Promethea, you know that it's more than a little odd once you get into it. But in among the talk about the Kabbalah, there are some salient, perfect points. At this moment, I think of how he handled Love - one gets pulled and pushed and battered by the things that have happened to those we love, the guilt we bear toward them, the things we have or haven't done... and in the end, the only way to survive within this ocean is to give in to the currents, to surrender to the embrace of love. However, whomever, wherever it comes.

For perhaps a week, I have found myself singing Beethoven's 7th symphony, mostly at work, but also during personal contemplation. ( Where I'm going with this )
