Quick post about Doctor Who season closer

I liked it. It worked for me. They managed to avoid the obvious deus ex moves and where they were forced to use them, did so rather tastefully. I was delighted to see how very easily and ordinarily the "perfect prison" was breached. There were a lot of things/tropes that could have been horrible in the wrong hands, but were instead handled delicately enough to become sweet and lovely.

Now my summer is free of televisual entanglements. Aww. See icon.
